38–55°F. Three minutes is the sweet spot. We keep a wall clock in view so you don't reach for your phone.
Cold immersion drops your core temperature fast and helps you bounce back after a hard session. The mental part is harder than the physical one. That's the point.
The tub is a Plunge, filtered and held cold around the clock. Most members run it as a hot and cold circuit with the sauna, going back and forth a few rounds, but it works fine on its own too. Stack it after lifting, before the sauna, or both. There's no wrong order.

01 · Breathe slow. The first twenty seconds is the worst. Long exhales. Don't hold your breath and power through. That's the panic response. Slow exhales tell your body everything's fine.
02 · Time yourself. Two minutes your first time. Work up to three or four over a few weeks. Past five you're into diminishing returns.
03 · Warm up slowly after. Skip the hot shower. Let your body rewarm on its own for five to ten minutes. The after-drop is part of the effect.
04 · Ask if you're not sure. There's always a staff member near the suite. If you're pregnant or have a heart or blood-pressure condition, talk to us before you go in.
Do I need to book?
No. Walk-in only. The wait at peak (5 to 7 p.m.) is usually under five minutes. Mornings, mid-days, and late nights you'll often have it to yourself.
Is it clean?
Yes. Continuous filtration, ozone, and a daily chemistry check. We post the readings on the wall. It's built to commercial-pool spec, not consumer-tub spec.
What temperature is it?
Between 38 and 55°F, depending on the season and how often it's used. We don't run it warmer than that. Warmer defeats the purpose.
Should I plunge or sauna first?
Either. Most members sauna first because it's the pleasant part. Doing both, hot then cold, has the most research behind it.
Who shouldn't plunge?
If you're pregnant or have a heart condition or uncontrolled blood pressure, ask your doctor first. Flag a staff member on your first visit.
